Those pilots may be on the ground near the operation, or they may sit in control rooms, thousands of miles away, guiding their minions by high-speed wireless networking links. If asked which dry sacks we'd be comfortable entrusting thousands of dollars of electronics to float down a river in, these are the five we'd recommend. Two exterior and five interior pockets (some with zippers) kept items organized, while a sizable insulated compartment provided a spot for bottles or food to stay cool. To guard against sweat seepage or sudden unexpected rainstorms, a precaution is to always put your clothes into a dry bag - which will also compress them - before loading them into the main compartment. On the exterior backside of the bag is an easily accessible zippered cooler compartment that many will find indispensable for keeping bottles and food cold. On the downside, when this pocket is full, it takes up space from the main compartment, making it challenging to put additional items in the bottom half of the bag, However, we found that the bag's adjustable buckle closure helps us stuff extra belongings in more easily than a traditional zippered bag. A changing pad with a zippered pocket is included for on-the-go diaper changes to hold wipes, diapers, or cream.

A front zipper pocket features a removable waterproof changing pad and compartments for wipes, creams, and a few diapers, minimizing the need to go digging when you’ve got a wiggling baby in need of a change. A ¼-inch back panel pad adds significant cushioning that prevents the pack’s contents from poking into the user’s back. A. This pack’s MSRP comes in at around $100, although if you keep your eyes open, you might be able to snag one on sale for a bit less. For additional security I also suggest you keep one in all of your bags as well as a digital copy on your phone. For example, gift them a durable bag like this one that can be used for a wide range of things. This wheeled backpack has straps that can easily zip up and hide the expanding metal handle. Wide padded straps allowed the bag to distribute weight evenly when the backpack was fully loaded. However, the backpack's external zipper was a highlight that allowed quick access to the changing mat.

However, the lack of further organization within each of the three compartments could be improved. However, there weren’t many pockets inside for organization, so our tester knocked half a point off for the bag’s design. The backpack's design nearly got a perfect score, but it lost half a point because our tester wished for a larger interior pocket or additional side pocket. Our tester scored the diaper bag backpack’s overall value 5 out of 5 stars. Our tester had zero complaints about the bag’s comfort but scored it 4.5 out of 5 stars for lacking any wow factor. The diaper bag is spacious and easily fits everything that littles need for an overnight or weekend stay, which is why our tester scored 5 out of 5 stars in the capacity category. It has a healthy capacity to store all items (nearly 7 gallons!) and received 5 out of 5 stars for that category. We've found the front pouch to be particularly useful for organizing our necessities, and we appreciate the four mesh inner pockets for easy visibility and access to our belongings, too: There's enough room in this backpack to store a parent's essentials in addition to baby gear. If you are looking for a beach bag specifically for toys, then I recommend this large mesh bag by SupMLC.

One odd detail is that instead of external side pockets, there are two elastic bands to hold a water bottle. On the bag's exterior, our tester found three pockets and used one to hold her water bottle. The many pockets (particularly the insulated one) and comfy padded straps are only a few standout features our tester loved about this backpack. Heavy items that belong in the middle section of the backpack are food cans, toiletries, cooking utensils, camp shoes, travel stoves, and fuel. Some hiking excursions will require a heavy coat, while others require cool clothing. According to our tester, it didn’t feel heavy and earned 5 out of 5 stars for comfort. Even with the two bottle pockets filled, this diaper bag backpack is relatively lightweight when fully loaded, and when we tilted the bag upside down, the contents didn’t get too jumbled or fall out.
